Watch me go insane as i try to learn Unreal Engine 5 because of the Unity runtime fee :D

if you don’t know, back in september of 2023 Unity (the game engine) announced that they would be changing their pricing model so you would have to pay a fee for every time someone installs their game. this raised many questions about reinstalls, piracy, and privacy throughout the game dev community. and as per usual, the internet did their duty and roasted the living hell out of unity lol. even though unity eventually updated these changes and had the CEO at the time (John Riccitiello) step down, many people decided to switch to different engines like Godot and in my case, UE5 :)

Im trying to put more keywords in my descriptions so this video will be pushed by the algorithm more. In other words: i want that dopamine rush

also sorry for the cringe microphone quality, lip smacking, and background noise, i was using my laptop to record this. I have a Quest 2 (which i heard has a good microphone) so i might use that next time.
