Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple is situated at the confluence of the River Krishna and Musi River at Wadapally. This temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This is an ancient temple built during Vijayanagar ruler Krishna Devaraya period. The deity is in a very angry posture.
According to the Puranas, Vyasa maharshi meditated for a long time for the manifestation of Sri Narasimha Swamy at Wadapally. Vishnu pleased with his penance and appeared before him in the form of Narasimha. Vyasa requests him to stay in Wadapally in the form of Narasimha to which Vishnu obliged. Accordingly, Sri Narasimha Swamy manifested there to bless the devotees and to reduce their difficulties. It is believed that even now the idol breathes in and out.
The other famous temple located in Wadapally is the Sri Meenakshi Agasteswara Swamy temple (0.4 km from Narasimha Temple).
Timings: 7 am - 11 am and 6 pm - 7:30 pm.

Vadapalle Shri Narasimha Swamy Temple is a small nice temple near Wazirabad, Telangana. It is said that this is the first Narasimha Temple in the Pancha Narasimha Temples. Owing to the penace of Vyasar Sri Narasimha Swamy manifested in his Ugra form after killing Hiranyakashipu.
There are two Oil lamps standing one below the other mounted on a thick metal Stand. While we can see the flame of the first Deepam near the face of the Lord keeps moving the second one at the bottom is still. It is believed that the angry breath of Narasimha Swamy is the reason of the quiver of the first Deepam. It is also explained that the devotees whose mind which wavers like the first deepam before their surrender to Narasimha Swamy becomes stable and still after His blessing on attaining Shanthi.
