Day 37 - “The Trip To The Market” - Patti Kusturok’s 365 Days of Fiddle Tunes

This is a wonderful tune written by Adam Sutherland. I’m so thrilled to be joined by some amazing young people known as the Frontier Fiddlers. The group is made up of youth from all over Northern Manitoba and they are in Winnipeg this week to do a few performances at the Frontier Division Conference. Today we spent all day rehearsing for tomorrow’s and Friday’s shows and they are incredibly hard working individuals!

Joining me and the students are instructors Cameron Baggins (who has been teaching in this program since its inception), Daria Watkin, Patrick Tinant, Nathan Halcrow (also playing guitar), and Daniel Koulack (also playing stand up bass). Jeremy Rusu is on accordion and on drums is Daniel Roy.
