For Hudson Valley Hospice patient Linda, music therapy was a chance to reignite her love of poetry. She found an immediate connection with Music Therapy Intern, Norene Meyer. The music they shared together had an enormous impact on Linda.

Music Therapy is proven to enhance the quality of life for patients, families, and caregivers. Hudson Valley Hospice employs a board-certified Licensed Creative Arts Therapist with Master's level education and specialty training in Hospice and Palliative Care Music Therapy.

Music Therapy is one of many complementary services Hudson Valley Hospice offers. These therapies are considered in each patient's individualized care plan and are used in conjunction with our traditional medical and therapeutic practices.
