I’ve sat on this video for months and I had no intention of publishing it, but after today and the continued mentioning of my name, various comments I've seen on YouTube as well as the complete misrepresentation of events I feel the decision was made for me.

These events took place over a year ago and should have remained in the past. For some reason, the parties chose to revisit (inaccurately) the entire situation. Instead of taking responsibility and making apologies or amends, the spin continues.

I originally recorded this and wanted to release it before their livestream in October but I withheld it in the hopes that they would set the record straight by being honest about the intent and the misrepresentations made in the videos and the events that transpired afterwards. Even after seeing the livestream in October I still refrained and allowed them the last word and I simply hoped that was the end of it.

I haven't watched this video since I recorded it. If memory serves, I wanted to make a couple of quick edits, but I honestly can't be bothered and perhaps it has more authenticity by not doing so. I'm also not publishing this inviting people to choose sides, to fracture the community, or using it as some avenue to break into YouTube. I have no motive other than to set the record straight and to tell the community my story. I hope that this puts an end to the drama and isn't used as motivation to continue an unwarranted campaign of ill will toward others in the Nikon community, myself included.
