Beenleigh STEM Event - supported by Google and Schools Plus

On Tuesday at Beenleigh High School, School Plus and Google launched their exciting new partnership to unlock STEM opportunities for all Australian kids.

The partnership aims to provide children and young people in lower socio economic, rural regional and remote and First Nations communities with opportunities to engage in STEM; providing learning, resources and digital tools to prepare them for their future careers.

Kids from Beenleigh High School were joined by children from four other high schools to kick start the program; exploring the cutting-edge world of drones with Alphabet’s (Google's parent company), Wing aviation team and unlocking the secrets of forensic science with expert Priscilla Thwaites.
