Pansori is a traditional Korean performing art
that uniquely combines storytelling and music.

The term Pansori is derived from the Korean words
𝘱𝘢𝘯, meaning “a place where many people gather”,
and 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘪 meaning “song”.

The art of Pansori is recognized for its cultural significance
and was designated as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2003.
