Watch: International Internal Audit Awareness Month

International Internal Audit Awareness Month is celebrated every year in May to promote the profession worldwide. At around the same period, the organisation finalises its financial statements for the annual audit conducted by the Auditor-General of South Africa. To ensure the integrity and reliability of the reported financial and operational information, the CSIR’s Internal Audit Services performs internal audits every financial year to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the financial and operational processes with the aim of enhancing our organisation's operations and adding value.
