Tools to make the balloon weights:
Food Scale - we use an older model but this one is a great alternative. We also use this food scale to measure the amount of confetti we use on jumbo balloons 😉

Stretching tool - We bought it from one of our balloon suppliers (Preferred suppliers: Surprize Enterprize and SKS Balloon Depot), but here is a link we found for you 😊

3ft balloons - We typically use light blue/pale blue balloons as they go on the bottom of swimming pools but in this case we used gray as they were going to be placed outside of the pool - bottom line, try to match the color of the surface where the weight is going to be placed so it doesn’t stand out. Also, we did 7lbs for this particular design but if you only need to hold one balloon, 5lbs is enough
River rocks from you local hardware store or garden center

About that little trick of using a water balloon over a CLOTH backdrop, if the pipes are not as thick as the ones we had to work with, you can also use clamps.
