Fantasy Shirts For Everyday Wear || Fantasy-bounding My Best Ranger Life

Описание к видео Fantasy Shirts For Everyday Wear || Fantasy-bounding My Best Ranger Life

So for today’s project I made two different fantasy shirts for wear in my everyday life. I based them off Richard Cypher from Legend of the Seeker, and Aragorn’s red tunic in Lord of the Rings. I definitely learned a lot while making these shirts, and I could see making more of these in my future. This style is super easy to construct, perfect for any beginner, and depending on what fabric you use, could be used for a wide variety of characters across film and tv.

I learned some valuable things from these two quick projects:
#1. Gussets don’t need to be as big on this style as they do with 18th century pirate shirts.
#2. Measure twice, cut once.
#3. Without careful planning, keyhole necklines can be far more gap-y than intended
#4. Viscose is slippery but amazing.
#5. Make sure your sleeves are set in properly the first time.
#6. If I ever talk about wanting to make something with French seams again, please give me a smack upside the head.

I am loving living my best fantasy-bounding life, and what geek doesn’t love incorporating a bit of subtle cosplay into their everyday lives? Did you catch my spur of the moment Loki disneybound? Word to the wise, dangly scale maille earrings make for...interesting...audio issues.
