Today we are going to go through the history of the Gibson Les Paul Recording model - Les Paul's favorite guitar. The LP Recording actually has 5 different variations in 6 string guitar form. The Les Paul Professional, Les Paul Personal, Les Paul Recording, Les Paul Recording V2 (version 2) and the Les Paul Recording II ("Reissue")

The guitar featured in this video is the "reissue" of the original Les Paul Recording that Les Paul used at the Iridium in New York. It is not technically a Reissue or even a tribute, but more so a continuation in the series as it has MANY differences when compared to its late 60s and 70s brothers.
