Описание к видео MEL TORME - SEPTEMBER SONG (Kurt Weill/Maxwell Anderson) GRETA GARBO TRIBUTE

Melvin Howard Tormé was an American musician, best known as a singer of jazz standards. He was also a jazz composer and arranger, drummer, and actor in radio, film, and television. "September Song" is an American pop standard composed by Kurt Weill, with lyric by Maxwell Anderson, introduced by Walter Huston in the 1938 Broadway musical Knickerbocker Holiday. This is jazz legend Mel Torme's amazing live interpretation of this great standard. Along with this are some stunning images of the legendary, iconic Greta Garbo. It is interesting that about her private life, she later remarked, "I never said, 'I want to be alone'; I only said, 'I want to be LET alone'. There is a world of difference". Enjoy!!
