This Technics SA-700 is the beast to test your speakers with, powerful and really great sound,
Rated @ 100 w but clocked the receiver at 130w, distortion started @90w but who’s counting, I’d say if your listening above 40 w, you must be sitting a mile away, this particular unit had cosmetic issues along with FM stereo light was not working that was easily fixed, this was a long project for me, ran into big problems with the potentiometer VR801, hard to get at so took some work but you’ll get the hang of it fast enough.
