Ranma 1/2 is an anime. And a sitcom. And one of the early works of the prolific and fantastical Rumiko Takahashi. Have I interested you yet? I should have, because Ranma 1/2 is a titular anime from the Dragon Ball Z days. A show that pokes fun at the martial arts boom of the 80s, while simultaneously being one of the most progressive anime ever released, even to this day. While the show often is surrounded by controversy and differing opinions, I'm going to share with you why I think Ranma 1/2 is a genius show created by a genius mangaka.
