Free Online Ballet Class for Toddler & Preschooler - Creative Dance Tutorial

For all those new to my dance tutorials for kids, this is not a traditional ballet lesson or class - it has been created especially for young kids and online purposes! My kids love to dance but hate always having to copy exactly what their dance teachers demonstrate. They see the steps, but then hear the music and want to move their bodies in their own creative ways. When learning dance online, and having watched my girls complete months of zoom classes with our local dance teacher, I have noticed how they become easily distracted which is why I promote in this lesson for kids to take ownership of their dancing and choose to either follow me and my direction or use my movement as inspiration to develop and create their own.

As this is not a live lesson and as the coach or teacher, I am not there to correct your child and fix their alignment or their steps, therefore I believe that the class should be creative and fun so that their passion for dance at a young age is nurtured and so they can do the lesson over and over and discover new ways to move their bodies and gain enjoyment each time doing the lesson.

I spend a lot of time trying to get the graphics and transitions just right on my videos and although I have photoshop, I love and prefer to use Canva for creating my graphics, finding photos, and videos to use. I currently have a Canva Pro annual membership so I have a single-use license or the right to use photos, videos, and elements in my videos as per the Canva licensing agreement and it has been one of the best investments I have ever made! There are so many photos and even video footage that I can use to put in my videos as well as use on my website. So basically if the photos or images you see on Dance Parent 101 do not include me or my family, then they are probably from Canva Pro. The great thing about Canva is that it is not just for vloggers and bloggers! I even made my kid's birthday invitations with it last year, posters, and much more!
