The Precautionary Principle - Climate Change Debate Animation

Описание к видео The Precautionary Principle - Climate Change Debate Animation

Hi there! I'm Mair, an animator and illustrator based in the city of Derby in the UK. I offer animated video, motion design and illustration services locally, nationally and internationally.

This is an animation I made for Dr Rupert Read at the University of East Anglia about his theory the "Precautionary Principle". It argues that we should act against climate change because even if you're a skeptic the risk of it being real is too great to ignore.

It's heavy stuff but the animation includes giant mutant space hamsters! The brief and script asked me to approach with the animation in a humorous, conversational tone.

Script and direction by Rupert Read and Greg Craven.
Illustration and animation by Mair Perkins
Voiceover arranged by Haynes Music Productions.
