Hi, I'm Matt of etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about these snap pads on our 2019 Newmar New Aire motor home. Now, these can be a great addition to your motor home just so you're not scratching up your driveway and you're getting something that's a little bit more stable. So, let's check 'em out. Now, it's important you make sure you're getting the right ones since we have a ton of these different kits. So, the way you can find out is the one that I have today is designed to work with your round foot pads.
It's also designed to work with specific sizes. So, this kit has two of these that are designed to work with your 10-inch foot pads, and then we have two more that are designed to work your 8-inch ones. So, you're gonna have all four corners covered with this kit. And they're really easy to put on. I'll talk about that later on, though.
We can talk about some of the benefits of them. And this supports your jack in a lot of different ways. So, one of the big things is this is gonna have a wider footprint. So, with the having a wider footprint, if you're on uneven terrain or just not as stable terrain, this is gonna help you a lot with supporting yourself. And these are gonna be fairly thick.
So, with this thickness, your leveling jacks don't have to go as far, so that's gonna help them just be more stable overall. Another benefit is just this material. As you can tell, it's pretty pliable. I can bend it with my hands. And what this does for us is, like I said, we're not gonna be scratching up the surface of your driveway or anywhere else that has a nicer paved area.
And then on top of that, too, it's not gonna be made out of any type of plastic, so if it gets really hot or really cold outside, this is not gonna get damaged. So, these are gonna be our 8-inch ones. The 10-inch ones are gonna look exactly the same. And you can tell that it's really not gonna get in the way of anything. So, I have my mud flap here. It's making contact with that, but it was making contact with our foot pad before anyway, so it's acting the same way. But as far as how far it's sticking down, we don't have to worry about that either 'cause there's still plenty of room here. Now, if you guys do decide to go with this, let us know how it's working for you in either a comment or review. But with all of that said, I can actually show you how to install these now, so let's check it out. So, to really get these installed, it doesn't take very much. We're gonna grab some soapy water, we're gonna spray the inside of them just like that. Kind of helps that it's raining out here, too, to make this process a bit easier. And right now, I've got the ones for the front, so in my case, it's gonna be the 8-inch one, but it's gonna be the same process for all of them. So, we're gonna go underneath here and we're gonna line it up with our leveling jacks. Doesn't have to be perfect yet. Once we lower this down further, we can line it up better. Now, when I'm doing this, I'm just gonna do it one at a time so I can take my time with it to make sure everything is properly getting lined up. And now we can extend those legs. (mobile home beeps) Once that's done, again, just repeat that process on the rest of them. And if you guys have any other questions, let us know here at etrailer. And again, I'm Matt, and thanks for watching.
