Qatar to Invest Billions of Dollars in AI, PM Says

Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said the state has adopted 9 billion Qatari Riyal ($2.5 billion) in incentives to achieve its programs in AI, technology and innovation. "We will work on diversifying the Qatari economy with the support of the private sector in Qatar and in the world, along with investment motives and incentives of a national development phase to be among the top ten countries for businesses," he said at the Qatar Economic Forum in Doha.
