The lyrics were written from a place I once lived….a time of loss, addiction, and deep mental pain. It’s raw because it was real.
Today, I’m free of that darkness, and I share this not to glorify the struggle, but to say this: even when there’s no light in sight, it can return.
But sometimes telling the story out loud is the first crack in the darkness.
