The solo film "Kraven the Hunter" set in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) has been in development for several years, even predating Tom Holland's debut as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After numerous delays, filming for the Sony movie finally began in 2022 in Europe. "Kraven the Hunter" is the latest addition to Sony's live-action Marvel movies, which focus on the origin stories of villains and antiheroes from Spider-Man's comics.

This series began with 2018's "Venom," starring Tom Hardy, followed by the 2021 sequel "Venom: Let There Be Carnage," and 2022's critically panned "Morbius," starring Jared Leto.#sonymovies #movies
