In 2017, WRI India launched the Smart Streets Lab in partnership with the IT Ministry of Telangana state to accelerate collaboration between enterprises and the city governments. By identifying challenges and exploring enterprise led solutions, the lab led to implementation of two pilots by enterprises with support from the city.
