Vilniaus miesto Rotušės aikštėje vyko „Azijos šalių dienas 2014". Jau antrąjį kartą rengiamoje šventėje buvo pristatytos egzotiškos rytų šalių virtuvės, įvairūs tradicinės rytų kultūros aspektai bei rytų kovos menų pasirodymai.
Vilniaus rotušės aikštėje įsikūrę Azijos šalių nacionalinių virtuvių restoranai pristatė Kinijos, Japonijos, Pakistano, Kazachstano ir Indijos tradicinių virtuvių valgius. Vilniečiai ir miesto svečiai turėjo puikią galimybę pasimėgauti gardžiais ir visame pasaulyje itin mėgiamais įvairių Azijos regionų patiekalais.
Šventės lankytojai klausėsi įvairių Azijos tautų muzikos, pamatė tradicinių šokių pasirodymus.
The "Asian Days 2014" in Vilnius
On the first weekend of summer the Town Hall Square of Vilnius City will again be flooded with the hubbub of the city dwellers, who will gather to the event of the "Asian Days 2014" on 6--8 June. The festival hosted already for the second time will introduce the exotic cuisine, traditional cultural performances and demonstrations of martial arts of the Eastern countries.
The restaurants of the national cuisine of the Asian countries set up in the Town Hall Square of Vilnius City will introduce traditional cuisine meals of China, Japan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan and India. Vilnius City dwellers and guests will have a splendid chance to enjoy tasty meals of different regions of Asia that are especially popular all over the world.
In addition, cultural performances of different countries will offer an opportunity to watch the demonstration of techniques of traditional Eastern martial arts, such as Aikido, Iaido, Kendo, Kung Fu, Karate, Niat-Nam, etc., and members of the Health Promotion Club Tai Chi will invite to the group morning exercises.
Guests of the festival will be able to listen to the music of different nations of Asia and to watch traditional dance performances. Everyone, who is interested in secrets of design of origami crafts, wishing dolls, fans and Kanzashi jewellery, will be welcomed at the creative workshops and will be able to try to make traditional souvenirs. Guests of the "Asian Days" will also have a unique opportunity to listen to the virtuoso of Taiko drums Joji Hirota (Japan), listen to the music and watch daces performed by guests from Indonesia "The Tapanuli group" and the demonstration of martial arts by Cai Mingtao and his student Chen Wanni (China).
The main purpose of the Asian Business Forum to be held in Kempinski Hotel on 6 June (Universiteto g. 14) will be to help the Lithuanian and Asian enterprises to establish constructive linkages with government bodies, promote cooperation between representatives of the Lithuanian and Asian enterprises through business associations and embassies.
This event will be focused on the food industry, textile, possibilities of the Lithuanian business development in the regions of Asia, review of business policy and investment environment of the countries of Asia and regions of Lithuania. Participants of the Asian Business Forum will have numerous opportunities to establish relationships between the government, leaders of business associations in Lithuania and abroad, and also to discuss the possibilities of the future cooperation.
The event of the "Asian Days 2014" pending on 6--8 June is an opportunity to get acquainted with the Eastern traditions and to submerge in the journey of different tastes and flavours. All dwellers and guests of Vilnius City are invited to visit the festival and not only to see, but also to feel the culture of the countries of Asia.
