Violentacrez - Biggest Troll Ever Unmasked (Exposed)

Violentacrez is a very popular long time Redittor whose identity was only known by close friends (also redittors). He was very recently exposed and unmasked by Adrian Chen, a Gawker blogger who got a tip about Violentacrez's true identity. Whatever Adrian Chen's reasons were for exposing Michael Brutsch, that doesn't really matter, because putting aside his intentions, what he reported was still true. The consequences that followed the article for Brutsch were solely based on his actions, and what he decided to do with his spare time. When you're defending your freedom of expression you can't fault people for freely reacting to those expressions. When you begin to post disgusting things, insult people, and promote chaos, don't be surprised when it all turns on you. Freedom isn't an excuse to do whatever you want, it's a responsibility to live the best way we can. When you abuse that, it will abuse you back. The story seems to be taking a weird turn now that people are bailing Violentacrez out by donating money to him, but don't be surprised if he does even worse things now that he has nothing else to lose.
But what do you think? Should he be left free of any consequence just because it was done in his privacy? Because he was trolling? Or does he deserve all the fall out?
