Bill tabled to 'Free' Temples; Who behind this 'Historic Wrong'? | India Upfront

On India Upfront with Rahul Shivshankar, 12 years after Narendra Modi promised to end a historic injustice, Bharatiya Janta Party MP today has introduced a bill in the Lok Sabha seeking to end State control over Hindu institutions including places of worship.

The rights of majority & minority communities must be equal: Dr Satyapal Singh, BJP MP who tabled bill to ‘free’ temples.

The opposition is now on a test as they must take a stand. If mosques & churches are free of state control should Hindu temples be ‘nationalised’?
