What is Russia's plan for victory?

I discuss Russia's war aims and how they might achieve their goals. What they want is political control over Ukraine, and they can achieve this goal through negotiations where Ukraine is forced into a bad peace deal that destabilizes the country. Unfortunately, many Western politicians and commentators misunderstand Russia's ambitions because they primarily see it as a war about territory.
