MegaHydrate uniquely provides significant quantities of hydride (H-), the hydrogen ion known for providing for antioxidant protection in its capacity as an electron donor. MegaHydrate thereby offers considerable free radical scavenging capacity.

MegaHydrate is known to create negative ORP (oxygen reduction potential) in water.
