The RDU Terminal C project consists of a 920,000 SF terminal and concourse facility featuring over 30 boarding gates that will accommodate 12 billion passengers per year; triple the size of the original terminal. It will feature an expanded federal inspection facility, contemporary ticket islands, and ample electronic signage to guide passengers through the terminal. Some unique aspects of the project are the international procurement of building materials and the concave convex curved roof design. This extremely preeminent project is taking Walsh to a new level in the airport construction industry.
