📌Broccoli Cheese Balls 🧀🥦

Tiny, cheesy, and veggie-packed! These broccoli cheese balls are a clever way to sneak in the good stuff—broccoli, carrots, sweet potato, and corn—all wrapped in a crunchy cornflake coat kids can’t resist! 🧡

Shaped into cute little bites, they’re soft inside, crispy outside, and full of flavour. Perfect for little hands and happy tummies. Pair it with homemade ketchup and you’re all set for a delicious, nutritious snack time! ✨

Ingredients:
• 1 whole broccoli (medium size), cut into florets
• 1 small sweet potato, steamed with skin
• ½ cup corn (boiled optional)
• 1 small carrot, grated
• ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp oregano
• ¼ tsp chilli flakes (adjust to taste)
• 1 tbsp rice flour (for binding)
• Salt to taste

For Coating:
• 1 tbsp rice flour + water (to make a slurry)
• 2–3 tbsp cornflakes, crushed
• Oil spray (optional)

Method:

Bring water to a boil, add broccoli florets, and blanch for 2–3 minutes. Drain and cool.
In a blender (not a chopper), add the blanched broccoli, steamed sweet potato, boiled corn, grated carrot, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, oregano, chilli flakes, rice flour, and salt.
Chop until it becomes a slightly coarse mixture. It should hold shape when pressed.
Scoop out small portions and roll them into bite-sized balls. Make sure they’re firm enough to hold their shape.Mix 1 tbsp rice flour with a little water to make a thin slurry.
Crush cornflakes in a plate.
Dip each ball into the rice flour slurry, then roll in crushed cornflakes until fully coated.
Preheat air fryer at 180°C (350°F).
Place the balls in the basket, lightly spray or brush with oil, and air fry for 12–15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Enjoy with homemade ketchup or yogurt dip

📌Millet Chocolate Pops

Today’s bite-sized treat is extra close to my heart — Millet Chocolate Pops, made with a secret ingredient: jowar flour! 🌾🍫

Because little ones eat with their eyes and we cook with intention — this is my sneak-peak NutriBite that blends into their day without them even realizing. Compared to most sweet treats, this one feels just a little fancier and sits a little healthier on their plate.

It’s homemade, free from preservatives or anything artificial — and trust me, one small bite is all it takes to see their faces light up. 💛
Once in a while, a little sweet joy like this? Totally worth it. ✨

Ingredients: ( 7 Balls)
• 1 ½ tbsp Jowar flour
• ¾ tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
• A pinch of salt
• ½ tsp baking powder
• A small pinch of baking soda
• ½ tbsp oil
• 2 tbsp milk (start with 1½ tbsp and adjust)
• 1 tsp melted chocolate (for binding later)
• 1 tsp milk (for binding later)
• ~50% dark chocolate, melted (for coating)

Instructions:

• In a microwave-safe bowl, add jowar flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
• Add oil and 1½ tbsp milk. Whisk well. If it feels thick, add the remaining ½ tbsp milk and mix until smooth.
• Microwave for about 2 minutes, or until a spoon inserted comes out clean.
• Once slightly cooled, mash the cake to a soft texture.
• Add 1 tsp melted chocolate and 1 tsp milk. Mix and combine into a dough-like consistency.
• Roll into small balls and insert a popsicle stick or toothpick to make it lollipop-style.
• Freeze for 30 minutes to firm up.
• Melt the 50% dark chocolate using a double boiler.
• Dip each frozen pop into the melted chocolate and let the excess drip off.
• Place on a tray or plate and refrigerate for 10–15 minutes until set.

📌Mango Ragi Popsicles

🥭 Mango brings in natural sweetness and is packed with vitamins.
🥣 Greek yogurt is loaded with calcium and protein.
🌾 And that secret spoon of ragi—a calcium-rich millet—is quietly doing its magic.

🦴 Ragi and Greek yogurt are both rich in calcium, which supports growing bones. Plus, mango adds a natural dose of vitamin C, helping kids absorb those nutrients better!

I added just a bit of raw sugar to balance the flavors, but the mango itself does most of the sweet talking.
And guess what? He has no idea what’s hiding inside—just that it tastes amazing! 💛

Ingredients: ( 4 servings)
• 1 large ripe mango (peeled and chopped)
• 1 tbsp sprouted ragi (finger millet) flour
• 1–2 tsp raw sugar or desiccant sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
• 100g plain Greek yogurt
• A little water

Instructions:
Scoop out the pulp of the mango add it to the blender.
In a pan, add 1 tbsp sprouted ragi flour, 1–2 tsp sugar, and a little water. Stir continuously and cook on low flame until it thickens into a smooth, lump-free paste. Let it cool completely.
In a blender, combine the mango puree, cooled ragi mixture, Greek yogurt, and the reserved mango chunks. Blend until smooth.
Pour the mixture into silicone popsicle molds. Tap gently to remove air bubbles.
Freeze overnight or for at least 10–12 hours.
Demold and enjoy a creamy, fruity, and wholesome summer treat!
