Summary :-
Grace a well-to-do editor of a magazine, loses her ring at a double party at her house. The event was a celebration of her engagement and her niece’s birthday. In the chaos, she hears her nephew going through her valuables and that is when she suspects the ring was lost. Fights ensue leading the party to end in a somber note. Grace and her fiance Charles search her house finding nothing. Heartbroken, Grace gives up hope. That is when she hears from Racheal ( her friend she reconnected with after a decade) that her patient’s mother has a similar ring. After little research, it is discovered the patient was Silvio (Grace’s nephew) and his mother Alicia had the ring. Discovering she was stolen from Grace confronts Alicia who denies everything. The fights continue and multiple interventions are held to sort out the matter by her parents and aunt. Alicia argues that her husband was screwed over in terms of allocation of assets and she clearly deserves the ring. The arguments turn Grace’s parents against her. Feeling helpless and angry Grace decides to file charges of theft and fraud on them. During court proceedings, Grace is aided by Andrea (Alicia’s sister) who was also stolen from and is able to establish a fraudulent past for Alicia. At court, Alicia claims Grace willingly gave the ring to her in secret at the request of her grandmother. Also, Alicia loses the ring which opens an investigation into finding the ring. After a month Grace finally wins the court case and Alicia is sentenced to a year in jail as they plead guilty.
