Prof Rien Van de Weygaert, University of Groeningen,

an expert in cosmology, the large scale Universe and the formation of
structure in the Universe.
He has a particular interest in the formation and dynamics of the
Cosmic Web and cosmic voids. He is an outstanding specialist in the analysis of numerical simulations and undoubtedly the most popular and charismatic lecturer according to the surveys prepared for the participants of the School.

The purpose of the Cosmology School is to give an introduction to the current knowledge in cosmology, both in theory and observations. This School is intended for undergraduate, MSc and PhD students, as well as young postdoctoral researchers, interested in these fields.
