Connecticut's United Ways, working in collaboration with United Ways in five other states, joined together with researchers at Rutgers University to give an identity and voice to people in our communities who work hard yet still struggle to make ends meet; people who we call ALICE - Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. After extensive research we have released the United Way ALICE Report, a Study of Financial Hardship. Watch this short video to learn more about ALICE and the struggles faced by 35% of Connecticut households.
