The causes of anxiety can be genetic, environmental, psychological, or developmental, but the good news is, anxiety can be cured. Awareness is the first step—writing down your thoughts in a journal can help separate you from those feelings, and practicing breathing exercises can activate your parasympathetic nervous system, bringing calm.

Joining a yoga class or focusing on self-soothing techniques, like placing your hand on your thymus and reassuring yourself, can make a significant difference. Remember, anxiety is triggered by events or episodes; it’s not something you are born with. By understanding this, you can begin to address the root causes and manage your anxiety more effectively.
