In this video, I’m showing you one of the most unique ways to grow watermelon — rooted in a greenhouse but vining outside into full sunlight! 🍉🌞 This hybrid technique gives you the best of both worlds: greenhouse protection and outdoor sunlight power.

By planting the watermelon in a large container inside the greenhouse, I’m able to control the root environment — protecting it from pests, heavy rain, and temperature swings — while still letting the vines run wild outside, where they soak up that powerful summer sun.

🌿 Why Grow Watermelon This Way?

Warmer soil = faster early growth and strong root development

Protection from soil-borne pests and fungal diseases

Easier to control watering, nutrients, and drainage
