On March 9, 1995, Selena, Suzette and Abraham confronted Yolanda about the missing funds from the fan club and the boutiques. Some people don't even know that Yolanda had previously embezzled $9,200 from her previous employer but no one found out about it because they settled it out of court. At the meeting Suzette called Yolanda a "Liar" and a "thief" and how disgusted she felt for having Yolanda be a bridesmaid in her wedding. Yolanda was fired and was told to leave the property. Two days later Yolanda bought a gun.
