While on our Holland America Westerdam cruise we stopped at the remote Aburatsu port. The weather was a bit grey and rainy but we still pushed on and visited beautiful Aoshima Island and Obi Castle ruins. It felt great to explore on our own using public transport. We may be a bit old and retired but we love learning and exploring everywhere we go. After all we have time to linger as we slow travel our amazing planet.
