ChargePoint ($CHPT) and LG Form Partnership to Integrate EV Charging Technologies

ChargePoint (NYSE: CHPT), a leading EV charging solutions provider, and LG Electronics have formed a strategic partnership to innovate EV charging technology.

Their first project will deliver commercial charging solutions combining ChargePoint's charger management software with LG's advanced hardware, starting later this summer.

This partnership aims to provide competitive packages for public sector projects, emphasizing high-quality domestic production and information security. LG’s U.S.-made, UL-certified, and ENERGY STAR® certified chargers, combined with ChargePoint’s FedRAMP-authorized software, will target U.S. federal government projects.

LG aims to strengthen its position in the EV charger market through this collaboration, enhancing its reputation for reliable, innovative solutions and leveraging its new EV charger factory in Fort Worth, Texas.
