NOTES: Please note that compared to many other Genesis games, Tec(h)nosoft games are very quiet. Thus, for upload, they are amplified to a normalized level as are all my uploads--the difference being, because of its lower volume it is amplified more. I chose this approach for quieter games because it mirrors what you would do with your television set: the game is quieter, so you'd turn it up. The side effect of this is that FM quantization noise is more audible and there is a slightly more audible noise floor. This is because a real YM2612 has has about 7 or 8 bits of waveform resolution, and it is nonlinear across the volume scale. This is not a recording artifact, it is how these games actually sound at volume on a model 1 with the original YM2612. It is not generally noticeable except during quiet passages.
