Gemini Pro Long Range Flight 33km over the ocean. (worked out an issue with the Video Feed)

Hey everyone! I'm trying a new antenna mount today on the suggestion from a fellow FPV enthusiast who knows more than I do about RF.
Turns out I had the antenna base plate mounted to my metal tripod and it was distorting the signal. So I mounted it above the tripod further on a wooden mount, and put about 60mm of foam in-between the wood and the antenna. 33 km out is a new distance record for me. Only 1 km beyond my previous record. The plane still has lots of battery. still had about half of the battery showing when landing and the MAH estimate is very conservative.
The weather was very calm today, but overcast, with very little wind, and smooth air and water. A little surreal. Shortly after turning around at distance, the airplane was using almost no power and maintaining airspeed in RTL mode. So, my only guess was that one of the adjacent clouds was creating a column of rising air. For a moment I thought maybe something was wrong with propulsion, due to the very low amp draw, but I was in auto mode, thinking I was in FBWA mode, so hence the lack of responsiveness from the throttles. turns out it was just an updraft, and when I switched into actual FBWA mode, and used the power, it responded just fine. Nothing wrong with the airplane. just the pilot.
Anyway, could not resist a good look at the lighthouse and islands on the way back as well as checking out the ships in the bay. another fun day and good times.
I have a lot of thinking to do about the video system.
The Crossfire did not failsafe.
Telemetry (RFD900X) only worked for about 12km reliably, and after that was extremely spotty.
The video is from a runcam Thumb, the original version. I have a new Thumb 2 on the bench waiting to be installed, as well as a SIYI gimbal provided by a friend to "play with".
These islands are bird sanctuaries.
