You never know what to expect when you go to an AstroMike Gordon Show. Sometimes you get Cristoffer Csanady, the humble, down to earth, singer songwriter who's just interested in writing and playing his music. He´s not interested in the attention and he won´t respond to flatter. He just want´s you to pay attention and have an open mind.And sometimes you get Mike Gordon, or AstroMike Gordon as he prefers to be called. He considers himself a pioneer and a rock god. He feeds on your flatter and he will demand your attention. He once said ”Astronauts are among the few people on this planet who have truly seen that earth is just a small pice in a endless sea of stars. Imagine having to go back and face that you are just a small part in an endless sea of idiots. Thats how i feel all the time”.

Cristoffer Csanady began playing music at the age of seven. Maybe it was the terribly dark Stockholm winters, but he soon developed a taste for seriousness in jazz music. Many years later, after graduating from the university of Lund with a masters degree in improvisational music, He realized that he needed to create something different. He had to reinvent himself. That´s when he met AstroMike Gordon for the first time. They met in the darkest ally of his mind and put all of their knowledge and ideas together. But above all they aded their voice, which is one of the most powerful voices on the pop scene today.

AstroMike Gordon and Cristoffer Csanady´s voyage started in Mars 2012 but reached a new level in 2014 when the debut album was released. Since then they have played in over 20 cities spread across Europe including Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, Reykjavik, Athens, Sankt Petersburg, Moscow, Tirana, Gothenburg and of course their hometown Malmö.
