On Tuesday March 27th, 2018. Hundreds of FDNY Members Gathered as the New York City Fire Department Said A Final Farewell to One of its Own, FDNY Firefighter Michael R Davidson Who Made the Ultimate Sacrifice on March 22nd, 2018 While Battling a 5 Alarm Fire in Harlem NY. Hundreds of New Yorkers Joined as Well as Other Out of City and State Departments Came to Line Up Outside of St. Patrick’s Cathedral to Honor the Fallen New York City Hero Firefighter.

Firefighter Davidson, A 15-year Veteran of the Department was Cited 4 Times for Bravery and his Life-Saving Actions. He was Posthumously Promoted to Lieutenant by FDNY Fire Commissioner Daniel A. Nigro and Mayor Bill de Blasio, Lt. Davidson was on the List for Promotion After Passing the Lieutenant Exam in 2015. He is Survived By His Wife and 4 Children.
