A Game of Thrones by George RR Martin has perhaps the greatest prologue in all of fantasy. It follows a group of three rangers as they track a group of wildling raiders north of the wall, but when they find the wildling camp abandoned and void of all life and they are soon ambushed and attacked by an ancient evil.

In this video I breakdown the chapter, provide additional context to the story and offer a number of theories supported by the events in the chapter. This video is the first in a series explaining George's A Song of Ice and Fire Book series in a short and digestible manner.
