The Sonic Riders Trilogy Was Weird

The Sonic Riders Series is by far one of the strangest group of games to come out of the Sonic The Hedgehog Franchise. The concept of Sonic The Hedgehog characters riding around a futuristic setting on hoverboards, racing against giant birds is quite strange if I do say so myself. It all started in 2006 to celebrate Sonic The Hedgehog’s 15th Anniversary when the first Sonic Riders game released in February. From there two sequels in the form of Sonic Riders Zero Gravity and Sonic Free Riders. With three games with stories, differing gameplay, music, characters, and more; it only makes sense to take a look back at a very fleshed out, odd, and most of all weird Sonic The Hedgehog Trilogy.
