Surrey is one of British Columbia's largest cities.

When I was new to Canada, I was told that it was the fastest-growing city in the country as well. With Metro Vancouver's soaring house prices, this has probably changed. But, I am sure that it still is one of the fastest-growing cities due to its proximity to Vancouver, the public transit network and its highly diverse communities.
