After the DURACELL flashlight fiasco from a few weeks back, I opted to get a new flash light. The MagLite seemed like the best option (incandescent bulb, made in USA, takes standard size batteries, simple, durable, traditional design, easy to use, etc.). So far it seems like a great light, and is considerably brighter than I expected. It is a bit long and heavy, but this is to be expected with so many batteries.
