I have just finished working on this National HRO-500 solid-state synthesized receiver dating from around 1965. All electrolytics have been replaced along with around 15 resistors and a Zener diode. The receiver was then fully re-aligned and is now functioning very well on all 60 band segments from 5KHz through 30MHz, easily meeting spec. I also refurbished the matching LF-10 LF/VLF preselector and there is another video demonstrating that in use with this set,
