This ancient temple located in Yamuna Bazaar near Kashmiri Gate is said to be one of Delhi’s oldest temples.

Legend says Lord Hanuman once rested here while bringing Sanjeevani Booti during the Ramayana era. His divine aura was so strong that all evil spirits in the cremation ground were freed. Even today, people say the Yamuna river touches the temple during monsoon as a sign of devotion.
