This jolly march is dedicated to the composer's godfather, the late Canon Paul Robert Iles MA (Cantab & Oxon), FRCO, Precentor of Hereford Cathedral (1983-2003), hence the title and the photography at the start and finish of the video. It is played on a Johannus Live III AGO organ, using the sample of the fine Forster and Andrews instrument (as rebuilt by Compton) in St George's Church, Stockport. The sample sets can be heard from four positions: console, front of the church, centre of the church, rear of the church. This recording uses the rear of the church position.
