Today we're gel testing the tried and true bullet for many whitetail hunters out there: The 270 Winchester using the 130 grain Remington Core-Lokt.

Both ballistic gel blocks were calibrated identically using the FBI standard BB test. BB penetration was an even 3.25"

Test barrel was 22.5" shot from 50 yards.

The black streaks in the Clear Ballistics block are from the burning of the gel from the 117gr Hammer Hunter gel test. I'm currently trying to figure out how to remove those.
