Welcome to Day 4 of our WordPress series! During Day 4 we will be focusing on the main part of WordPress: the dashboard. This is where everything starts and most of the work will be accomplished - whether managing, customizing your site, or updating settings, the dashboard is your base of operations. If you've always felt overwhelmed with WordPress interface, this video will help clarify a lot for you.

You will get to learn the differences between Posts and Pages, look at the unique characteristics of each, and when to use them. We'll show you through how content is organized and created. Posts are dynamic, timely, and provide the best vehicle for blogs and updates while pages are static and best for an About, Contact or Services type of content.

Then we will review the Media Library, where you images, videos, or files live. We will show you how to upload and utilize images the right way to keep your site interactive and visually appealing, while avoiding clutter. This is an important step. If you want your site to have a professional look and allow for good experience for the user, this part is very critical.

By the end of this session, you much more confident with your understanding of WordPress's interface. This will give you confidence to build your website whether you are building a blog, portfolio, or even a full business site.
