Fender is celebrating the 60th year of existence of the remarkable Telecaster electric guitar. While maintaining the elegant look of the Tele, the 60th Anniversary Tele-bration Mahogany guitar has a completely different tone. The mahogany body produces a deep warm tone that compliments the clean high gain output of the pickups. The contoured body with the smooth edges make it a dream to play while the hand-rubbed oil finish brings out the amazing wood grain. Plus the fingerboard is made from lamboo (laminated bamboo) which is a renewable resource.

On its 1951 introduction, the Telecaster was a revolutionary instrument that would usher in whole new eras of musical innovation and excitement. Sixty years later, in 2011, it is an archetypal electric guitar with a long and storied history.
